The Ohio Economic Development Partnership is a Certified Community Development Entity (US Treasury) whose primary mission is to help businesses create and retain jobs, and to provide incentives to companies that are contributing to the economic development of low-income communities throughout the State of Ohio. The incentives include a transferable US tax credit equal to 39% of the investment being made. Additional state incentives may also be available for businesses that expand or locate in designated areas in Ohio.

Our Governing Board includes a variety of talented people with varying careers, interests, and abilities, such as elected officials, HHS service providers, financial advisors, counselors, health care providers, local business leaders, and government economic development representatives.  All of our Board members have experience and/or background working with low-income persons and communities.  Their goals include helping eliminate poverty by opening up opportunities for low-income persons and low-income communities.
